The tour was very different in that there were things I wanted to see again, but the quide did not take us there, ie murals . 95% of this tour was outside. “The lunch at the winery is very relaxed and plenty of time to wander the vineyard. The tour bus takes you nearly to the top of the volcano. There is a little rest area with souvenir shops, cafe, toilets and great views. This is a perfect place to enjoy if the final walk up top is too difficult for you. Half our group stayed here and half continued up to the top. The walk is very challenging as it is steep and the ash path is sloppy underfoot. But it’s manageable if you take your time and have little rest.”
